Gastrologix continues to expand its staff and capabilities with the addition of Suzanne Turzillo, who will focus on special projects designed to bring additional value to members of the Gastrologix group purchasing organization (GPO).
“Suzanne has held many leadership roles in the healthcare industry, said Steve Somers, principal at Gastrologix. “We’re looking forward to our GPO members being able to access her vast expertise in leading physician practices and her knowledge of hospital, government and insurance aspects of health care.”
Suzanne joins Gastrologix following more than six years as CEO of Digestive Health Partners in Asheville, North Carolina. Prior to that she was the CEO of GI Associates in Jackson, Mississippi for nine years.
Suzanne’s initial projects will include conducting surveys of Gastrologix members for the purposes of developing value-add programs for infusion services, real estate opportunities and the development of GI specific databases.
