Gastrologix is the only Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) in the U.S. working strictly on behalf of independent gastroenterologists.
We work with independent GI practices to lower costs, operate more efficiently and expand services, so that GI physicians can remain independent and continue to provide a valuable alternative to the more expensive care provided in hospitals.

Gastrologix has developed a “one-stop-shop” program for the endoscopy needs of its member groups. This includes items such as:

- Disposables (Microtech)
- New Endoscopes (Fujifilm)
- Certified Pre-Owned Scopes (Northfield Medical)
- Scope Reprocessing Equipment and Supplies (Medivators)
- Capital Equipment (Avante Medical)
- General Distribution (Henry Schein)
This program recently produced savings of between $450-$500K for a member practice relating to the outfitting of a new endoscopy center.

Infusion Therapy
We partner with Cardinal Health for the purchase of infusion drugs. Member groups, depending on the size of their infusion programs, have achieved significant annual savings. It takes less than 15 days to effect the change and start saving. The success of the Infusion Therapy purchasing program allows Gastrologix to work directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers to develop future programs to more directly benefit our member practices.

Capsule Endoscopy
We have an exclusive agreement with CapsoCam Plus, the provider of a small bowel capsule endoscope which uses a novel 360 panoramic lateral view to overcome the limitations of end-facing cameras and provide a more comprehensive imaging solution, while its wire-free design provides unparalleled comfort, convenience, and freedom to patients.

Endoscope Lease Renewal Negotiations
We identify maximum savings opportunities for GI practices when renewing their video equipment and scope leases without requiring a conversion from your chosen scope manufacturer for equipment or service. Our industry experience allows us to negotiate the best deal possible while ensuring that the clinical equipment needs are not sacrificed and operations are not inconvenienced.
